Issues
Paek's Plans for New York
SUPPORT THE NYPD

As a NYPD veteran, Paek understands the importance of standing with our police. In Albany, Paek will fight to restore qualified immunity and make it easier for our police to protect our communities.
EDUCATION

City and State leaders are seeking to remove the SHSAT and gifted programs, a move that would disproportionately impact Asian-American students. Paek will defend and safeguard our educational opportunities
LOWER TAXES

New York has some of the highest taxes in the nation, driving hundreds of thousands to leave. Paek will fight to cut taxes for all working-class New Yorkers
STOP CITY OF YES

The "City of Yes" threatens our neighborhoods by promoting unchecked development. Paek will protect local streets and communities, preserving the unique charm and character of every neighborhood.
HOME AFFORDABILITY

Paek knows how hard it is to buy your first home. That’s why he will work to remove Albany’s bureaucratic hurdles for landlords and property owners while lowering property taxes.
REPEAL NO CASH BAIL

No Cash Bail has led to a surge in crime, especially violent hate crimes. As a former police officer, Paek knows we must end no cash bail to keep violent criminals (especially repeat offenders) off our streets.
